Using Mobiles with Access Numbers

Calling from a mobile? You can use dial2world access numbers from your mobile phone too - giving you massive savings compared to international mobile tariffs. Just make sure that you check Rate/mins to our access numbers with your mobile service provider before making your calls.

When you call from a mobile, remember to only press the call or send button after dialing the access number but not again after dialing the destination number.

OR, programme the whole thing in to your mobile for total hassle-free calling:

To find out the cost of calling from a UK mobile, or a non BT landline, you should confirm the Rate/mins directly with your service provider as these may vary.

Orange - 0800 80 10 80
Vodafone - 07836 191 191
mmO2 - 08705 214 000
One 2 One / T-Mobile - 08454 121 121

Tricks to use when calling from your mobile

There's a simple trick to using the service from your mobile without having to keep dialing both the access number and the international number every time you use the service.

Here's how:
Simply add a pause between the access number and the international number you wish to dial:

Eg: You want to call Mum in Australia. So, you create a new entry called 'Mum' in your phone-book on your mobile and then when entering the number:

1) Enter the just-dial access number e.g. 0844 570 5579

2) Enter a 'pause'. This is done as follows depending on your brand of mobile

Nokia Phones:
A 'p' should appear after * has been pressed 3 times: ie 0844 570 5579 (*** will show a 'p')
Siemens/Panasonic Phones:
A '+' should appear after 0 has been pressed and held.

Motorola / Ericsson Phones / Sony:
A 'p' should appear after * has been pressed and held.

3) Now enter your international destination number in full including 00 and press save.

That's it - next time you want to call 'Mum' using just-dial simply find mum in your memory and press call!
